I, Shaig Allahyarov, was born in the village of Gryz in the Quba district. I grew up surrounded by mountains from childhood, and today I have dedicated my life to mountain tourism, hiking, trekking, and summit expeditions. I have visited almost all mountainous regions of Azerbaijan and have organized numerous tours to high and challenging peaks, particularly in the northern region. Since 2017, I have successfully carried out hikes and traverse tours to Qizilqaya plateau, Heydar Aliyev, Ataturk, Bazarduzu, Tufandag, Shahdag, Bazaryurd, and other summits. I am one of the first people in Azerbaijan to complete the TCT Azerbaijan trail. This route is an international mountain trail stretching from the Black Sea to the Caspian Sea along the Greater Caucasus mountains. Since 2014, I have been managing the Griz_guesthouse guest house in the village of Gryz. Since 2020, I have been working as a mountain guide at the Azerbaijan Mountain Guide tourism company. In 2021, I participated in the TCT Azerbaijan project, contributing to the research and guiding of mountain routes in Azerbaijan. For me, the mountains are not just summits — they are a way of life, a responsibility, and a mission to show people the right path.
