Hamishavang Monastery

Hamishavang (Həmişəvəng) is an ancient Caucasian Albanian monastery located near the village of Böyük Qaramurad in the Gadabay district. Dating back approximately to the 14th–15th centuries, this medieval religious monument is a notable example of the rich Christian architectural heritage in the western region of Azerbaijan.
